Thank You for a Wonderful Quiz Evening
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our quiz evening such a success.
Special thanks to David and Steve for their invaluable help with setup, and to Pete and Aimee for organizing the music and assisting behind the scenes. Many thanks to Lorna for her fantastic ticket sales and warm welcome, and to Chantal, Stephanie and Lorna for the much-loved lasagnas. Jane and Sari’s tiramisu, fruit salad and biscotti were delicious.
Thank you to our brilliant servers Valerie, Cliff and John, and to Howard for expertly running the bar (and heroically tackling the washing up!), with great support from Henry. Steve was an excellent quiz master, thank you for all the research, and thanks also to Henry for helping keep the scoring on track.
A heartfelt thank you to our Mayor, Anja, for presenting the prizes, and to everyone who donated raffle prizes. Most of all, thank you to everyone who bought tickets and came along, your support made it all possible.
It was a true team effort and we raised a fantastic amount.
